Adrenal Stress Profile

The Adrenal Stress Profile uses a non-invasive salivary procedure to monitor the activity of the adrenal cortex and its ability to react to stress. The procedure monitors the circadian variation of the cortisol and DHEA-S level.  An increased cortisol level, a decreased DHEA-S level, or a decrease in DHEA-S/cortisol ratio is an indication of a stressful physical or mental condition.  Also measured in the Adrenal Stress Plus Profile are secretory IgA and anti-gliadin antibodies. Secretory IgA protects the gut from pathogenic material.

Turn around Time – Approximately 14 days.

Chronic Fatigue Screen

This test combines the Adrenal Stress Profile and Metabolic Analysis tests to provide a comprehensive analysis of various factors that may be implicated in chronic fatigue and other related conditions.
