If you are hoping to avoid refined sugar or beginning a healthier phase of your nutrition, these are for you. Not eating refined sugar has enabled me to explore new ideas for my clients. These were made within minutes and were devoured pretty quickly, so didn’t last too long in the fridge!
½ cup/115g almond butter
5 pitted dates
½ cup/100g of mixed nuts, e.g., cashews, macadamia or any nuts you like
½ cup/115g sesame seeds (hold back on some to sprinkle on top)
Add all ingredients to a food processor and mix until smooth.
Spoon mixture onto a tray and shape into small biscuits or roll into balls.
Sprinkle with sesame seeds and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow them to set.
